 A packing list of what campers should bring to camp...
Riding Clothes & Equipment - Regulation harness hard hat
- Riding crop
- Optional:
- Jodphurs or breeches
- Riding jacket
- White shirt or ratcatcher
- Paddock or tall boots
Clothes - 2 pairs pajamas
- 8 pairs underpants
- 8 pairs socks
- 5 pairs jeans (fewer if camper brings riding pants)
- Teeshirts
- Shorts
- Sweater
- Sweatshirt
- Jacket
- Swimsuit
- Beach towel
- Tennis shoes
Toiletries - Toothbrush & Toothpaste
- Laundry bag (labeled with camper's name)
- Wash cloths
- 3 bath towels
- Shampoo
- Sunscreen - a must!
- Hairbrush & Comb
Bedding - 2 pillow cases
- Lightweight sleeping bag (preferred)
-or- - 2 sheets and 2 blankets
- Pillow and bedspread will be provided
For Stables All grooming tools, saddles, bridles, etc. will be provided for school horses. Any student may bring her own equipment, but everything must be clearly marked with her name. Foxfield is not responsible for lost or damaged equipment or tack. Campers bringing their own Horses Students bringing their own horses must provide all their own equipment. Stalls are portable show stalls and are rented on a first-come, first-served basis. Foxfield feeds alfalfa hay only (twice a day). Any grain, supplements or different feed must be provided by the owner. Bring proper feed storage containers. (Foxfield recommends a garbage can with a chain and lock.) Any student may bring her own equipment, but everything must be clearly labeled with name. Foxfield is not responsible for lost or damaged tack. Please mark all items clearly with camper's name. |
